Tweeting Away

Every Night Has A Soundtrack.

I cannot wait for this movie. But I don't know when it's coming out in the Philippines!

I hope the movie gives justice to the book, which I loved. One-night love stories are fun to watch and read about.

Now, I'm far from being a hopeless romantic, but if there's a kind of love story that gives me butterflies in my stomach, it's this one. For instance:

Technically the movie takes place over an entire summer, but the night of their first date (the high school graduation party) sets the tone of the entire movie, and is hilarious in parts, but also has a subtle sweetness to it - you know, the kind of sweet that doesn't make you want to roll your eyes / vomit / say "REALLY?", all heavy with sarcasm.

I chanced upon this movie on HBO when I was about 12 or 13 years old, and I wonder now if seeing this movie at such a young age has something to do with that constantly nagging desire in my head to backpack across Europe. One of my favorite scenes would have to be the one with the poet and the word "milkshake". Totally random and quite odd, but romantic in its own unique way.
