It makes for awe-inspiring, pop surrealist art.
From Blood: Miniature Paintings of Sorrow and Fear I saw one of Mark Ryden's paintings on television and felt compelled to Google him and his other paintings, and I loved them. Not sure I'd want them on my bedroom wall because some are quite disturbing, but maybe therein lies their magic - his paintings are inexplicably, hauntingly beautiful.
His work is also a sort of social commentary...
And they're all whimsical, strange, and beautiful.What do you guys think?
