So Long, Sneaky Chatbox Pop-Up Ad.

Another geeky post.

I was really getting annoyed at the Travian pop-up ad that would show up every freaking time I refreshed my blog. The worst part was that I couldn't find the script it belonged to amidst all the third party scripts installed on my blog. I finally found the very sneaky widget that caused it, though - it was the freaking chatbox! So I had to get rid of that. Good riddance.

Where the chatbox used to be there is now a new playlist widget. I used MyFlashFetish before but it didn't have a lot of the songs I wanted. Grooveshark seems to be way better, with a bigger song database - if anything, it has the "Love Is Colder Than Death" version of The Virgins that I couldn't find anywhere else online. Click "play" on the sidebar and give some songs a listen - the prized Virgins song is track 2, but don't skip on track 1 - "You and Me Song" by The Wannadies was going to be my wedding song, until Tori Spelling used it on her awful reality show. The song's not completely off the list yet considering it'll surely be a few more years before my wedding day (granted I need to find a boyfriend first, lol) - by then I'm pretty sure everyone would have forgotten about that hideous TV show already, and "You And Me Song" would be quirky-cool again.

Oh gosh, and track 3, "Maps" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs....oh my goodness. Beautiful song. I love it.

I know, I kind of miss my chatbox. :( But I really just got fed up by the pop-up ad, hehehe. It had to go!

Yeah try the player thing! It's fun :) I'm tired of my iPod playlists and I'm too lazy to update them, and this one here on my blog is the newest playlist i've made so now I just listen to it instead of my iPod, hehe.
