Things To Do Today.

  • Blog.
  • Read Microserfs, Douglas Coupland
  • Quote Microserfs: "Anyway, it's a good thing we're human. We design business spreadsheets, paint programs, and word processing equipment. So that tells you where we're at as a species. What is the search for the next great compelling application but a search for the human identity?" Nice.
  • Use this as YM message: "When you're in black slacks with accentuating, off-white pinstripes, everything goes according to plan."
  • Download "Ur So Gay" by Katy Perry 'cause "It's So Fun": "You’re so indie rock it’s almost an art / You need SPF 45 just to stay alive / You're so gay and you don't even like boys!". That last bit cracked me up!
  • Email John Janick, genius behind Fueled By Ramen (No Food. No Sleep. Just Records.) and ask politely if I could please, please be his apprentice because I'd like to someday start a company with a really cool name like "The Miranda Clones" or something.
  • As a more realistic option, email said Mr. Janick a few serious questions about how in the effing world he was able to start Fueled By Ramen out of his college dorm and how he's managed to keep his company so effing cool and so...anti-estabilishment indie.
  • Read the 12 haphazardly-photocopied-then-scanned-which-makes-them-even-cooler chapters of Midnight Sun and go crazy over Edward Cullen again. But these days Brendon Urie is My Boy and I'm not sure I want to let go of that yet.
  • Finally, try to Sweat Out the Fever even if You Can't, so that tomorrow things can shape up to be Odd. and Pretty.

P.S. Just for the record, the weather today, is slightly sarcastic with a good chance of (a) indifference and (b) disinterest in what my critics say.
