This one's been going around Facebook, so here I am jumping on the bandwagon.
For Earl, Angel, Shara, Sam, Karen, tRuth, Katt, Jun, and Nadez, who tagged me from their 25 things, and to Mabz, Aldous, Edell, Mazie (who never checks her Facebook, it seems, but I'm tagging her anyway!), Alex, J-Anne, Ayi, Gerry, Ris, Tiff, Gabe, Missy, Pongy, Therese (I miss you calling me "intern"! Haha!), Irene, and Ronald - I probably already know 25 random things about you guys, but I sure could use another 25. :)
Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

1. On my mother's side, I was the only grandchild and niece for about 10 years. Yes, all my cousins and my brother are currently in their early teens or younger. And they might all be taller than me. Which sucks, needless to say.
2. As a kid, I hated afternoon naps. In hot summer afternoons everyone in our house would be asleep, and I'd be the only one up and about, nearly bored to tears. Nowadays, I would do just about anything for an afternoon nap. Go figure.
3. Only grandchild + only one awake at siesta time = it was inevitable that I'd get an imaginary friend. S/he (I can't remember the gender now) wasn't particularly interesting or creative though - nothing like a dancing baby or a fancy looking woodland creature. I kind of wish s/he was.
4. Shameless plug: I have a blog. http://lostluna.blogspot.com - please click on the ads when you visit, okay? Help me fund my travels! :)
5. I say "spinach" in a funny way, or so my Echo friends say. :)
6. Ultimate dream: to backpack across Europe!
7. Favorite song of the moment: "Love Is Colder Than Death", by The Virgins (has been for quite some time now!)
8. Current favorite fictional character: Barney Stinson, from How I Met Your Mother. It's gonna be legen - wait for it - dary!
9. I was the one who began Twilight Coven Philippines on April 1, 2008. No kidding.
10. I like cute, dorky, geeky boys, e.g. Michael Cera, Seth Cohen, Ted Mosby, Chandler Bing, Shia LaBeouf, John Cusack in "Say Anything" as Lloyd Dobbler, Jason Mraz...the list goes on and on. Haven't met one in real life though :(
11. I love the water. Beaches are the best. Swimming pools are okay too. And if I could, I'd spend more time in the water than on land.
12. I play tennis! For my first ever tennis lesson I had to use my lolo's insanely old wooden tennis racquet because my parents hadn't been able to buy me a decent, modern one yet. It was incredibly heavy and difficult to use, and the experience was a little embarrassing! But I kept playing anyway - and nearly ten years later, with a decent racquet now, I still play tennis!
13. My favorite TV channels: Nat Geo Adventure and Discovery Travel & Living. In Nat Geo Adventure I have this favorite show called "Bondi Rescue", which chronicles the lives of Bondi lifeguards. It's like Baywatch for girls. Haha.
14. I'm all for RyDen, i.e. Ryan Ross hooking up with Brendon Urie. It's just that I'd rather they end up with each other than with dumb slutty blondes, you know?
15. Favorite chick flicks: Sleepless in Seattle (absolute number one fave, and probably one of the main causes of my romantic delusions as a teenager), While You Were Sleeping, The American President, Say Anything. There are a few more I think, but I can't remember them now.
16. Favorite guy films: Fight Club, The Departed, Kill Bill Vol. 1.
17. I love the 80's! Of course, I was too young to actually remember living through that decade, but the music and the movies just seemed like a lot of fun then. A party is never complete until everyone is wasted and dancing to "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" or some other 80's anthem. And who wouldn't enjoy watching the brat pack movies?
18. Favorite family memory: a lazy Sunday afternoon when I was in my early teens, at my grandparents' house. My lolo and lola were listening to this station that played oldies music - Nat King Cole, Sinatra, the works - and this "dance" song came on. My lolo stood in the center of the living room and casually held out his hand to my lola, and they started dancing. Graceful, nonchalant dancing, as if they'd been dancing for years (which they had, and still do!). Everyone was silent, watching them. If I get to have at least half of what my grandparents have in one of my future relationships, I’d be extremely grateful and happy. I love that they love each other so much after decades of being together, and not in an "ewww" but in an "awww" kind of way. I'm sure you know what I mean. :)
19. Lyrics in my head at this very moment: "Oh baby, you're a classic, like a little black dress..."
20. What I was doing before I started this: downloading chapter 1 of "The Shoebox Project", a love story between Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Should be interesting!
21. Jason Mraz = love. I love his free spirit, his creativity, his art. What I wouldn't give for the life he has!
22. Songs I wish I wrote: "A Beautiful Mess", Jason Mraz; "Time to Dance", Panic at the Disco; "Under Pressure", Queen; "You and I Both", Jason Mraz
23. My favorite food in the entire universe: my lola's homemade, Filipino-style lasagna. It's my favorite midnight snack on Christmas Eve, after all the festivities and everyone else at home is asleep, and I'm the only one awake watching Christmas episodes of Friends with Beaumont (our golden retriever).
24. Last Saturday, I had dinner with Mazie, Carlo and Mabz, and we ended up reminiscing about college and all the crazy things we did back then - a lot of them involving alcohol and the rooftop of Carlo's building. They are friends for keeps, along with Edell, Carmz and Aldous, and I look forward to all of us having kids one day (not with each other, but maybe Maze and Carlo?) and us telling them about the crazy things we did "in our youth". Not looking forward to using that term though, "in our youth". Scary!
25. I make playlists for everything. It's because songs help me remember things. For instance, "Insomnio" by Cafe Tacuba and "Put Your Records On" By Corrine Bailey Rae remind me of orange sky and sunshine and how they make the scenery picture-perfect when we'd be driving down empty roads lined with wildflowers along stretches of green fields, in late afternoons from a day trip to the beach with the family.
